Bernice Teague Kersten, age 79, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012. She was born May 15, 1933, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, a daughter of Henry Gilbert Teague and Elsie Purdy Teague. She was a Nurse, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Kersten and wife Connie of Morrilton; sisters, Jessie Bridgman , and Shirley Bridgman both of Opello; grandson, Derek Kersten; granddaughter, Christina Kersten; great-granddaughter, Madison Kersten; great-grandson, Jacob Kersten; great-granddaughter, Kelsey Criswell, all of Morrilton.
Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6: 00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, at the funeral home
