George Joseph Cambiano, age 86, of Morrilton, passed away, Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
He was born November 24, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Melchiorre "Mike" Frisivaro Cambiano and Isabella Luke Cambiano.
He was an Attorney, and served in the Navy during WW II. Also, he was a graduate of the University of Arkansas Little Rock Law School, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4th Degree Knight and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, former Municipal Judge for the city of Morrilton, member of Municipal Judges Association, member of Association of Trial Lawyers of Arkansas, member of the Arkansas Bar Association, member of Fish Lake Club, and a member and past president of the Morrilton Rotary Club.
Survivors include his wife, June Cambiano of Morrilton; brother, Ross (Rose) Cambiano of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; sons, Mark Cambiano of Morrilton, and David (Traci) Cambiano of Conway; Doug Cambiano of Blackwell; Brad Cambiano and Dan Cambiano both of Morrilton; daughter, Kathleen Cambiano of Morrilton; grandchildren, Chris Cambiano of Center Ridge; Anna Marie (Tommy) Briggler of Wonderview; Anthony (Cristina) Cambiano; Luke Cambiano, and Olivia Cambiano both of Conway; Aaron Cambiano, Adam Cambiano, Emily Cambiano, Melina Cambiano, and Bridgette Cambiano all of Morrilton; great-grandchildren, Adrian Freeman, Brooklyn Briggler, Annalyce Briggler, and Makayla Briggler all of Wonderview; Angelo Cambiano of Center Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Angelo Michael Cambiano.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Charles Thessing officiating.
Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January13, with Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Huett, Chris Cambiano, Anthony Cambiano, Aaron Cambiano, Adam Cambiano, and Bruce Hawkins;
Honorary Pallbearers will be Conway County Bar Association, and Fish Lake Club.
