Teresa Faye Cowell, 53, of Mtn. View entered into rest on June 11, 2009 at her home.
Teresa was born March 23, 1956 in Batesville, Arkansas to Junior and Iva Nell (Poff) Risner.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Cowell; her parents, Junior and Iva Nell (Poff) Risner; sons, Jason Cowell and his wife Andrea of Drasco, Nicholas Cowell of FiftySix and Donovan Cowell of Mtn. View and one grandson, Casen Cowell; sisters, Ronda Ivy and husband Gerald of Mtn. View, Pam Thomas and husband Johnny of Turkey Creek. Other survivors include nephews; Richard Ivy, Adam Ivy, Shane Avey; nieces, Mary Ann Thomas, Amy Thomas, Sarah Thomas and her mother-in-law, Ernestine Cowell; sister-in-law, Mary Beth Brondhaver and husband Steve and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Houston and Olive Poff and paternal grandparents; Dick and Virgie Risner and her father-in-law, Coy Cowell.
Visitation is 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2009 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Mtn. View with Bro. Ray Brown officiating and the obituary by Dr. Tom Isbell with interment in the Historical Cemetery of Mtn. View.
Pallbearers are Danny Tinkle, Jim McCarn, Guy Buchanan, Dennis Cartwright, Shane Avey and Von Dean Jeffery. Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Ivy, Johnny Thomas, Jerry Wilson, Fred Ward, Herbert Poff, Larry Poff and Jim Poff.
