Roy Dean Williams went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2010 at age 62. Dean was born in Mtn. View, AR to Curtis and Mary (Hanks) Williams on March 31, 1947. He asked the Lord into his life on September 21, 2009.
He leaves behind to mourn; his wife Bonnie, one son Jimmy Dean Williams and loving daughter-in-law Michelle; two grandsons Justin Williams and Casey Williams and wife Stephany; one granddaughter Mallory Williams; two great-grandchildren Emily Grace Williams and Aaron “Bub” Travis Williams all of Mtn. View, AR; three sisters Betty Martin of Mtn. View, Emma Jean Daughtry and husband Espy of Big Flat and Mary Jane Richardson and husband Randy of Vilonia, AR; three brothers Jerry Williams of Batesville, Kenneth Forbus and wife Jan of Michigan and Bill Forbus of Trumann; two sisters-in-law Alma Chapman and husband Wilburn and Betty Graves and husband Clyde all of Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews , family and Friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Curtis Williams, mother Mary Williams, his youngest brother Donnie Williams and one nephew Robbie Williams.
Visitation is 7 – 8 p.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2010 at Mtn. View General Baptist Church, Mtn. View with Bro. Kerry Smith officiating and interment in Mtn. View Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Carroll, Justin Williams, Casey Williams, Dan Buckingham, Steve Mitchell and Alvin Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Williams, Larry Pitts, Michael Pitts, Brian Lancaster, Earl Williams, Rodger Forbus, Roger Forbus and Randy Forbus.
