Wilma Frances Stokes, 74, Mountain View entered into rest on May 24, 2007 in Mountain View.

She was born January 11, 1933 in Rector, Arkansas to Alonzo Orbin and Wilma Bertie (Ratledge) Stahl.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Denzel; a son, David Stokes and wife Suzanne of Keller, Texas; a daughter, Debby Nesbitt and husband Jim of Mtn. View; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Nova Holt of Braymer, Mo.; one brother-in-law, Denver Stahl of Desloge, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Wanda Stahl of Jonesboro, Mary Glore of St. Louis, and Nela Stahl of Rector and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers; George, Gerald, Olan, Orville and Irvin ‘Doc’ Stahl.

Funeral service is at the First United Methodist Church, Mountain View, Arkansas at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 29, 2007

Bro. Steve Johnson, Bro. Earl Carter, and Bro. Anthony Shipman officiating.

Interment is in Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Shane McElroy, Tim Wilson, Mark Rector, Gary Don Condrey, Bob Carr and Gary McClung.

Honorary pallbearers are George ‘Sonny’ Stahl, Jack Woods, Glenn Morehart, Charles Kramer and Aubrey Mitcherson.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
