Source- In the late 1960s Archeologist Martha Rolingson documented several graves on the largest of the Lakeport Mounds. She states "Three of the stones are for the Collins family and date 1818, 1845, and 1848, but the others are illegible" -- The Arkansas Archeologist: Bulletin of the Arkansas Archeological Society 12 (Winter 1971).
