Born in Hamilton Co. IL to James Henry and Nancy Jane (McKenzie) Brown, Aaron moved to Wiley Township, Randolph Co., AR in 1898, accompanied by his wife Francis E. Jennings and their sons, Willis Noland and Eddie G. Brown. After Francis’ death he married Sarah Adline Buckner. He and Sarah had ten children, including two sets of twins: Arthur D., twins Charles E. and David E., Robert G., Nancy J., Earnest L., twins Effie E. and Ethel, Henry E., and Ora Ann. He farmed until about 1906 when he and D. W. Fender started Fender Mercantile.
