Aaron Farris Puckett, 81, of Melbourne died Monday, July 20, 2009 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born August 22, 1927 at Violet Hill the son of Newt Puckett and Hettie (Lawrence) Puckett.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict. Aaron enjoyed joking with his visitors, reading, and was very proud that he was a soldier and had served his country. He was a member of Brockwell Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22 at New Liberty Cemetery in Violet Hill with David Cooper officiating.
Pallbearers are Steve Stevenson, Bret Stevenson, Dan Wilson, Alan Estes, Jim Cooper and Hank Moser.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the funeral home.
