MOUNTAIN VIEW – Carl Ray Henderson, 71, of Mountain View died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, in Lawrence, Kan.
Born Feb. 19, 1931, in Mountain View, he was the son of Floyd and Della Johnson Henderson. He was a logger and an Army veteran. He was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene Mealer Henderson; two sons, Steve Henderson and John D. Henderson, both of Mountain View; three daughters, Gail Williams, Deborah Webb, and Wanda Gorman, all of Mountain View; two brothers, Ernest Henderson of Mountain View and Paul Henderson of California; two sisters, Bertie Trotter and Bobbie Ruth Haney, both of Mountain View; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Assembly of God with Don Nye and Lee Clark officiating. Burial will be in Levisy Flat Cemetery under the direction of Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View.
Pallbearers will be Gary Henderson, Tim Henderson, Scott Henderson, Larry Poling, Randy Lancaster, Tony Lancaster and Kevin Henderson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Everett Sadler, Bobby Nichols and Michael Gilbert.
