Nova Jean Everette, 91, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on July 27, 2012. She was born June 22, 1921 in Big Springs, Arkansas to Thomas Levi and Lou Frances (Sutterfield) Balentine. She was a member of the Mountain View General Baptist Church and Eastern Stars.
She is survived by her husband Robert Everette; sons, Roy Richard Long of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, James Ronald Long of Romoland, California; stepson, Dickie Lynn Everette of Colma, Michigan; sisters Lovra McClung of Mountain View, Arkansas and Sophia Bequette of Derby, Kansas; seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Levi and Lou Frances (Sutterfield) Balentine; five brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will take place Sunday, 2:00PM, July 29, 2012 at Mountain View General Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Services will follow the visitation Sunday, 3:00PM, July 29, 2012 at Mountain View General Baptist Church. Brothers Kerry Smith, Dowice Ashley, and Huston Ashley will be officiating.
Interment will take place at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Clark, Bob Broyles, Tom Ivy, Kenny Yarbrough, JR Mills, and Roger Ivy. Honorary pallbearers are Keith Balentine, R.L. Balentine, Dr. Richard Long (Doctor of Pharmacy), and Jimmy Long.
