ABERCROMBIE, Walter - (from Thornsberry} Walter Abercrombie died Sunday morning of typhoid fever and pneumonia. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Thornsberry Sunday evening. Rev. J.P. Humphreys preached his funeral to a large crowd of weeping relatives and friends. We would say to the bereaved family. "We are gathering home, one by one," and we don't know how long the separation may be and for you to be fully prepared to meet the son and brother gone before.
