Steven Edward Young, age 33, passed away at his home in Cotton Plant on Saturday, April 16, 2011. A son of Wayne and Linda Houser Young he was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 28, 1977. Steven was of the Baptist faith and was a 1996 graduate of Marvell Academy. He was a life time resident of Cotton Plant and had been employed by Elldridge Supply as a parts manager. Steven was a member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge #94 and was a past assistant Fire Chief for the Cotton Plant Fire Department. Steven is survived by his parents Wayne and Linda Young, brother, Billy Young and wife Renee" of Judsonia, sister, Linda Watkins and husband Michael of Bald KNob and grandmother, Juanita Houser of Brinkley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nathan Houser, Blen Young and Lorine Young. Visitation with family and friends will be 6-8PM, Wednesday at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, at Bob Neal & Sons Chapel in Brinkley with burial in Cotton Plant Cemetery. Pallbearers are B.J. Rouse, Blake Rouse, Jarod Stinson, Jason Young, Kevin Whitson, Brandon Davis and Donnie Houser.
