BELLA VISTA — Jack Findley Tittle, 83, of Bella Vista died Dec. 19, 2005, at his home. He was born June 14, 1922, in Granite, Okla, to Haze1 Mary Lessor and Leo Findley Tittle. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a cowboy, farmer and artist and handyman. He was a volunteer for the Tanyard Creek Trail. His interests included family genealogy, bird watching, reading and history. He was a member of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1988 from Australia. He spent more than 40 years in Hawaii and the Pacific. He was a member of the VFW Post 9063 in Bella Vista and its Honor Guard.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years. Jean Tittle of the home; three sons, Thomas Tittle of Goleta, Calif., James Tittle and wife Theresa of Norman, Okla., Stephen Tittle of Waipahu, Hawaii; one grandson, Jackson Tittle.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Ken Parks officiating. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Honor Guard.

Arrangements are by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Theodore's Episcopal Church, 1001 Kingsland Road, Bella Vista, 72714, or Tanyard Creek Trail, c/o Bella Vista POA, 101 Town Center, Bella Vista, 72714.
