BELLA VISTA — John Henry Bokma, 90, of Bella Vista died Oct. 3, 2005, at Concordia Care Center in Bella Vista. He was born July 24, 1915, in Chicago to John and Ella Bokma. He was an Army veteran, serving in the Pacific and was employed by International Harvester Co. as a product engineer for 45 years. He moved to Bella Vista 23 years ago. He enjoyed golf and bowling and was a member of St. Theodore's Episcopal Church and the VFW.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gene Bokma of Bella Vista; two sons, Ronald Bokma of Bella Vista and Richard Bolma and wife Debra of Valparaiso, Ind.; two grandchildren, Erick and Laura.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Ken Parks officiating.
Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral home.
