Marcella Szymanski
A Funeral Mass for Marcella H. Szymanski of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Father Stan Swiderski officiating.
Marcella passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Village, Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the age of 89. She was born July 17, 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Anton Kasper and Helen Swierz Rybicki.
The last of her generation, she is survived by her daughter Sandy and Jim Smakal of Lakeview, AR; daughter-in-law, Diane Szymanski of Bolingbrook, IL; sister-in-law, Marcella Kasper of Danbury, WI; grandchildren, Kelly Smakal Munn and husband Justin, of Tulsa, OK, Daniel Smakal and wife Brandilyn, of Lakeview, Debra Davidson of Grants Pass, OR, Dale Szymanski and wife Sarah, of Bolingbrook, IL and Brian Szymanski, of Burnsville, MN; and great-grandchildren, MaryClaire and Finley Munn, of Tulsa, Dillan and Caroline Smakal, of Lakeview, Taylor and Jordan Davidson of Grants Pass, Madison and Nathan Szymanski of Bolingbrook, and Taylor and Becket Szymanski of Burnsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Szymanski, son Fred Szymanski and all her siblings and in-laws.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kindness, Inc. or Meals on Wheels.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
