Verda Rosa, 98, of Mtn. View entered into rest on March 23, 2009 in Mtn. View.
Mrs. Rosa was born Dec. 31, 1910 in Mtn. View to John M. and Loma (Beckham) Storey.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sons: Don Rosa and wife Purcella of Mtn. Home, Charles Rosa and Karon of N. Little Rock and Billy J. Rosa and wife Margaret of Mtn. View and one daughter-in-law, Martha Rosa wife of deceased Jim Rosa; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Rosa; son, Jimmy L. Rosa; parents, John M. and Loma (Beckham) Storey; brothers: Ernest Storey, Earl Storey, Luther Storey, Johnny Storey and Thurlow Storey and sisters: Georgia Lancaster, Dora Cash and Bernice Broyles.
Visitation is 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 25 2009 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the First Baptist Church, Mtn. View with Bro. Ray Brown officiating and interment in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Bill Storey, Jim Cash, Harold Lancaster, Von Dean Jeffrey, Leon Shipman and Barry Storey.
Honorary pallbearers are William H. Rosa, David C. Rosa, Bradley K. Rosa, Kevin P. Rosa, Kyle Rosa, Justin Rosa, Judy Purtle, Lisa Powell, Kara Rosa, Kristin McKenzie and Lea Morano.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mountain View is in charge of the arrangements.
