MOUNTAIN VIEW - Jim L. Rosa, 65, of North Little Rock died Monday, March 19, 2001.
Born Jan. 8, 1936, he was the son of William Harrison Rosa Jr. and Verda Rosa. He was a retired coach and teacher. He received a bachelor of science in education at University of Central Arkansas in Conway. He was a lifetime sports enthusiast and loved gardening and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Martha Elizabeth Gosser Rosa; a daughter, Lea Rosa Marano; a son, Justin Moore Rosa; a granddaughter, Jade Olivia Marano; his mother; three brothers, Bill Rosa, Charles Rosa and Don Rosa; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Flatwoods Cemetery at Mountain View with arrangements by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Mountain View. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church in Sherwood.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Mountain View.
