Euna B. Turner Loyd, of Springdale and Siloam Springs, died Nov. 16, 2004, in Tulsa, Okla., at the Cancer Treatment Center of America surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 12, 1952, in Knoxville, Iowa. She moved to Springdale in 1961 with her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Springdale and was married to Bob Loyd on May 7, 1971, at the First Baptist Church. She was an employee of Springdale Farms in the early 1970s. In 1972, she became a key part of the family farm that included a chicken and cattle operation. The family farm grew into the Alternative Design manufacturing company. Euna was the executive secretary in Siloam Springs, where she worked with her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eddie and Georga Loyd. She loved her family, walking, square dancing, creating and was the sweetest person remembered in her close circle of family and friends.
She was the adored wife of Bob Loyd, the loving mother of Mark Loyd and Amanda Locke, loving daughter of Louise Turner and Clarence (Bill) Turner (deceased), sister to Martha Crumpacker of Ozark, and Norma Cameron of Minneapolis, Minn., grandmother to Elizabeth and Hannah.
Funeral sevices will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Hippe officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Denny Cameron, Kevin Crumpacker, Grant Loyd, Jason Patrick, John Patrick, Brett Martin and Michael Richard.
Honorary pallbearers are "Arkhoma Whirlaways," "Dudes & Dolls," "Swing N Stars," "Odds N Evens" and "Ridge Rockers."
In lieu of flowers, Bob wishes that you take a loved one to do something special.
