SPRINGDALE — Elner Mattie Lynch, 71, of Springdale died Jan. 16, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born June 29, 1936, in Washington, D.C., to Lee and Marie Kinlaw Newberry.
She was a retired cook and attended House of Worship in Hindsville.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby J. Lynch of the home, to whom she married March 22, 1956; two sons, Bobby Lynch and wife Carrie and Randy Lynch, all of Springdale; one daughter, Denise Napier of Springdale; four brothers, Arthur Newberry of Denver, John Kenneth Newberry of Lumberton, N.C., Carl Newberry of Columbia, S.C., and Joe Newberry of Charleston, S.C.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Williams and the Rev. Mike Montgomery officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
