Age 72
A resident of De Queen, Mr Hendrix died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Gillham, Arkansas and was a member of the St Barbara Catholic Church.
Mr Hendrix was preceded in death by his parents, Smith Henry and Ellen Wylie Hendrix; one son, Smith Henry Hendrix and one brother, Benjamin Wylie Hendrix.
He is survived by his wife, Delia Hendrix of DeQueen, Arkansas; one son, Kenneth John Hendrix of Big Springs, Texas; a grandson, Russell Hendrix of DeQueen; a brother, John H. Hendrix of DeQueen.
Funeral Mass for Mr.Hendrix was held in the St Barbara Catholic Church with Monsignor Scott Friend and Father Eddy D'Almeida officiating. Burial will follow in the Hendrix Family Cemetery.
