SPRINGDALE — Margery M. Acuff, 88, of Springdale passed away Dec. 21, 2007, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Bloomington, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Arthur and Flora Ann Plummer Acuff. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fish Back Baptist Church in Springdale for more than 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edmond Acuff on July 10, 1972, and one daughter, Shirley Jean Lynch.

She is survived by four sons, Roy Acuff and wife, Angie, of Springdale, James Arthur Acuff and wife, Stella, of Springdale, Randall Acuff and wife, Reba, of Fayetteville, William Acuff and wife, Sara, of Springdale; three daughters, Etta Kelly and husband, Jerry, of Jay, Okla., Mary Andersen and husband, Larrie, of Gentry, Glenda Serrato and husband, Jose, of Rogers; 28 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Monday in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
