SPRINGDALE — Ethel Gaye McDoulett, 78, of Springdale, died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 1, 1926, in Wynne to John D. and Carrie M. Elliott Baker.
Mrs. McDoulett was a homemaker throughout her life and was a devoted caregiver to her family. She enjoyed her three dogs and watching and feeding the birds. She was a member of Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis F. McDoulett in 1993, two brothers, Stanley Baker and Joe Baker, and a sister, Edna Lane.
Survivers include her daughter, Della Burr and husband Richard of Springdale; grandson, Phillip Burr and wife Katie of Springdale; great-granddaughter, Abigail Burr of Springdale; four brothers, Braden Baker and wife Charlotte of Memphis, Tenn., J.D. Baker and wife Pat of Springdale, Phillip Baker of Riverside, Calif., Delbert Baker of Springdale; sister, Erma Immel of Springdale; and many nieces and nephews.
Funerai services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Baker, Marty Baker, Mike Baker, Johnny Birchfield, Wendell Fleming, and Ernie Lucero.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springdale Fire Department paramedics division.
