Bob Luther, 78, of Mtn. View entered into rest on February 7, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Bob was born May 2, 1932 in Mtn. View, Arkansas to Thurlow E. and Seddie (Lancaster) Luther.
He was a member of the School Ave. Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a cattle farmer and a lifetime member of the American Angus Association. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and brother.
He is survived by his wife Faye Sutton Luther of the home; daughter, Robin Tinkle and husband Danny of Mtn. View; granddaughters, Kasey Sims and husband Ladd of Mtn. View and Anna Harlan and husband Brandon of Onia; two great-grandchildren, Littlepage Sims and Laddie Sims; brothers, Edwin Luther and wife Evelyn of Mtn. View and Dr. Joe Ray Luther of Hot Springs, Arkansas and sister-in-law, Freddie Luther of Mtn. View and host of nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Thurlow and Seddie Luther; brother, Letus Luther and sister-in-law, Ava Nell Luther.
Visitation is 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011 at School Ave. Church of Christ with Bro. Frank Curtis officiating and interment in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View, Arkansas
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
