Arah Alice Harrison,89,of Star City,died Wednesday at Delta Memorial hosptial here.Born December 9th,1902,at Alma(Crawford county),she was a daughter of the late Floyd Robert Owens and Arminta Henderson Harrison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Star City. She was preceded in death by her husband,W.Branson Harrison,and by two sons,Harold Harrison and A.C. Harrison. Survivors include four sons,Billy Harrison of Waskom,Texas,and Roland,Harrison,Charles Harrison and Ray Harrison,all of Star City;six daughters,Bonnie Blasengame of Perris,California,Arminta Reeves and Shirley Harrison,both of Star City,and Anna Marie Austin,Parelee Bradshaw and Louise McCoy,all of Pine Bluff;45 grandchilren;67 great-grandchildren;and seven great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 10a.m.Friday at Butler/Pleasant Hill Cementary near Star City with the Rev. Johnny Carter officiating.Arrangements were made by Griffin Funeral Services of Star City.

William Harrison, 70, of Star City, died Monday at his home. He was a retired farmer. Born in Arkansas County, Mr. Harrison was a son of the late Dan and Susie Day Harrison.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church here.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Arah Alice Owens Harrison; six sons, Harold Harrison, A. C. Harrison, Rowland Harrison, Charles Harrison, Billy Harrison and Ray Harrison, all of Star City; six daughters, Mrs. Annie Marie Austin, Mrs. Pearlie Bradshaw and Mrs. Louise Taylor, all of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Arminta Reeves and Shirley Harrison, both of Star City, and Mrs. Benny Blasengame of Los Angeles; a brother, Thomas Harrison of Jonesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Stillwell of DeWitt, and Mrs. Bessie Pearson and Mrs. Susie Adcock, both of Stuttgart; 46 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church by Reverend Harold Richardson and Reverend John Fuqua. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary of Pine Bluff.
Pallbearers will be J. B. Harrison, Doyle Harrison, Ashby Stillwell, Leon Pearson, Curtis Adcock and Buddy Owens.
