Kathleen G. Baker, age 79, of Morrilton, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008. She was born September 30, 1929 in New Dixie, Arkansas, a daughter of Ralph and Catherine Nagel Nord. She was a Registered Nurse and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton.
She is survived by her daughter, Mara Cree of Booneville; two sons, Steven Baker of Dripping Springs, Texas, and Mike Baker of Nesbitt, Mississippi; two brothers, Gerald Nord of Texas, and Harold Nord of California; one sister, Patricia Sutton of Costa Mesa, California; four grandsons, four granddaughters, two great-grandsons, many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny Nord, a daughter, Karen Baker, and a granddaughter, Destiny Reidmueller.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Charles Thessing officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. A Rosary will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, at the funeral home.
