Sallie Lancaster,
95 years old, member of the Fifty Six Missionary Baptist Church, a nurse, homemaker, mother and grandmother; born to William Isaac and Effie (Thomas) Allen.
Survived by sons; Hershel Lancaster and wife JoAnne of Shirley and Allen Lancaster and wife Jolay of Mountain View; a daughter, Wanda Swanson and husband Carl of Edmond, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Willa Newcomb of Littleton, Colorado as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation is 3 - 7 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View (870) 269-3210.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2007 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View. Pastor Steve Johnson officiated.
Pallbearers were John Steffey, Rick Swanson, Kenny Lancaster, Don Lancaster, Lance Reames and Lewis Acker. Honorary pallbearer is Glen Doyle Lancaster.
Interment will be in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View, Arkansas.
