*McCrory - circa 1868 - Located about a mile north on highway 17, and half a mile east of McCrory, on high ground visible from the highway. Originally, it was located on one of the original roads which was cut through the trees, following the high ground from DeView through what was called Jenny Colony and leading to the north towards Beedeville.
