Sylvia Sue Horton, 67 of Odessa, Texas, died Thursday, January 27, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital, Odessa, Texas. Sylvia was born on June 22, 1937 in Gentry, Arkansas to Granville Van Horton and Susie George Horton. She also grew up and was educated in Gentry. Sylvia worked for many years as a Nurses Aid in the medical profession. Sylvia is survived by two sons: Charles D. Mitchell Jr. and and Matthew L. Mitchell and wife Sherry all of Odessa, one daughter Teresa A. Pinnell and husband David of Houston, sisters, Carolyn Horton of Dallas, Texas, Maureen Horton-Reading of Springdale, Arkansas, two brothers G.V. Horton of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Charles Horton of Dallas, Texas.
