Monday, October 18, 1976
Mrs. Emma DeWitt, 89, Aurora, Mo., did Oct. 16, at the Aurora Community Hospital. Born June 21, 1887, in Millrose, Kan., she was a retired teacher, having taught many years in Northwest and Central Arkansas. She was a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church near Siloam Springs.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Pond, Aurora; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wasson Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Mabury and the Rev. Ray Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
