William "Bill" Raymond Craig, Jr.

William "Bill" Raymond Craig, Jr. was born in Kansas City, Missouri on October 28, 1933, son of William Raymond and Lenora Anne (Speck) Craig. He departed this life on January 30, 2013 at his home in Elizabeth, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 2 days.

Bill was united in marriage to Carolyn Ann Searles on October 10, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Bill was a warehouse forklift operator for Flemming Foods in Waukesha, Wisconsin before retiring to Arkansas. He was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas.

Bill is survived by his wife Carolyn Craig of Elizabeth, Arkansas; one step-son Blake Craig of Tampa, Florida; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by two sons, Donald and Ronald Craig; his parents and two brothers, Robert and James Craig.

Funeral services will be held at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, February 2, 2013, 2:00 PM with Bro. Ron Skaggs officiating. Interment will be in Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Wally Hodges, Chuck Hodges, Larry Neterville, Jim Doublin, Dale Hostetler and Aaron Hostetler. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time at the church.

Memorials preferred to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
