Mary Frances (Monahan) Cavender, 86, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away at her home on February 12, 2013.
Mary was born on January 17, 1927 to George Franklin and Bessie Ann (Jenkins) Monahan in Tomahawk Creek Valley.
She was a member of the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the VFW Women's Auxillary.
Mary was a loved and valued employee of Stone Ground Natural Foods and worked at the Blanchard Shirt Factory for 25 years.
Mary was also a one room school house teacher at West Richwoods and enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her plants and flowers very much.
She was always ready to go for a ride whether it was to go visit family, friends, or to a ball game.
She is survived by her children Clyde Warren and wife Earlene, Howard Len and wife Sandra, G. Lowell and wife Rebecca, Kathryn Lanelle, Janice Kay and Solomon Bass, Geraldine Frances and Charles and son-in-law Mycokel Phillips; grandchildren, Heather Marie Phillips, Shawna Lynn Long and husband Chris, Sarai Ann Aaron and husband Keith Ransom, Eric Lee Cavender, Clay Andrew Cavender and wife Amanda, Carey Ryan Cavender and wife Courtney, Ever Chastain Cavender, Amie Mitchell and husband Kevin, Zane Johnson and wife Samantha, Michael Patrick, Kelly Patrick, James Huff and wife Dawn; great grandchildren, Casey Alan Maricle and wife Tricia, Aaron Jordan Maricle, Michael Dylan Highfill, Kaelyn Siobhan Aaron, Elizabeth Cavender, Brooklyn Mitchell, Lexie Cavender, Ella Marie Cavender, Zaydin Johnson, Avery Nicole Cavender, and Marley Mariella Phillips; one great great grandchild, Taegan Hope Maricle and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Franklin and Bessie Ann (Jenkins) Monahan; spouse, Elbin Houston Cavender; two daughters, Elba Laver n Cavender and Ella Marie (Cavender )Phillips.
Pallbearers are Eric Cavender, Clay Cavender, Carey Cavender, Michael Patrick, Aaron Maricle, Casey Maricle, and Kevin Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers are Dylan Highfill, Mycokel Phillips, Chris Long, and Soloman Bass.
