William Melville Holtry, 83, of Rogers died Saturday at Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1892 in North Platte, Neb. He was a former resident of Pea Ridge and was a retired accountant and a farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Holtry of the home; one son, William Holtry of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Louis Cox of Dewitte, Iowa and Mrs. Larry Shannon of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ed Wallner of Stewartsville, Minn.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pea Ridge with the Rev. Everett Bland officiating. Burial will be in Butrams Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
