Death visited our neighborhood last week and took away our friend Mrs. W.L. Agin. She was born in Lynn county, Mo. in 1863 and at the age of 24 years married W.L. Agin. To them were born five children, 3 girls and 2 boys, one of the latter dying in infancy. All were at her bedside when she died excepting one daughter, Mrs. Zona Eilson of Laclede, Mo. Mrs. Agin united with the Missionary Baptist church at the age of 16 years and has led a Christian life all through these years. She has been in poor health the past three years but bore her sufferings with Christian patience. All was done for her that kind hearts and loving hands could do but with no avail. The funeral services were conducted by her old pastor, Rev. John Hall of this place. The body was laid to rest in the Cemetery at Buttram's Chapel in the presence of a large number of friends.

AIGEN, Mrs. Will - {from Pea Ridge, for last week} Mrs. Will Aigen died last Thursday about 1 o'clock and was buried at Buttram's Chapel Friday afternoon, funeral services being conducted by Rev. John Hall at the Baptist church. She had been in poor health for three or four years and while her death was not unexpected we regret very much to lose so estimable a lady from our community. We extend sympathy to the bereaved husband and daughters and son.
