Monday, March 27, 1933

The body of Scott Still, who died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Floy Blake at St. Joseph, Mo., arrived here Sunday and was taken to his home at Bestwater. Funeral services were held at Buttrams Chape1 at 2:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. H.N. Renfro of Avoca officiating. Burial services were conducted by the Masonic lodge. Arrangements were in charge of J.W. Bryant. Mr. Still is survived by two sons, Orbrey and Clarence Still of St. Joseph, and three daughters, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Dorothy Howe of Bestwater and Miss Maxine Still, St. Joseph.

Funeral services for Scott Still, 59 years of age who died Friday in St. Joseph, Mo., was held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Buttram’s Chapel, conducted by the Rev. H.N. Renfro of Avoca. The Masonic Lodge of Brightwater conducted the services at the grave. Funeral arrangements were in charge of J.W. Bryant of Rogers.

We heard over the phone that Mrs. Cora Still of Brightwater died Monday at 1:30, leaving her husband, Scott Still, and several small children to mourn her loss.
