Rodney Steven Ramsey, 43, of Fayetteville died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at his residence in Fayetteville. He was born June 8, 1962, in Dallas, the son of Pete and Ann Hawkins Ramsey. He was a graduate of Fayetteville High School, a passenger agent for Atlantic Southeast Airlines and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ramsey of the home; two daughters, Carole Ann Ramsey and Hannah Suzanne Ramsey, both of Springdale; his parents, Pete and Ann Ramsey of Van Buren; two sisters, Melissa Ramsey of Fayetteville, Penny Day and husband Dave or Fayetteville; two nieces, Kayla and Morgan Day, both of Fayetteville; grandmother, Lucille Hawkins of Richardson, Texas; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Doug Falknor officiating. Burial will follow at the Sons Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville. Pallbearers will be Jim Scarbrough, Joe Washimgton, David Jones, Doug Williams, Rick Tanneberger, Wade January, Ron Eaton and Michael Smiley.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 27, 2005, at the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, online at www.nelsonberna.com.
