Chester Harvey Bradford, age 84, of Arlington, Texas, passed away at home on Sunday, March 11, 2007. Born in Higden on March 17, 1922, he was the son of the late George W. and Lilly Bell (Rodgers) Bradford.

A resident of Higden for 23 years, Mr. Bradford was a retired welder. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. Mr. Bradford's hobbies included hunting, fishing, and gardening. His religious belief was Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlsie Louise (Sneed) Bradford; one daughter, Sharon Louise Bradford; two brothers, Roy and Ray Bradford; and two sisters, Ethel Cullum and Syble Kerindall.


Mr. Bradford is survived by one son, Maurice Bradford and fianc/e Gloria Brand of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Betty Sileven and husband Terry of Arlington, Texas; three brothers, Marvin Bradford and Edward Bradford, both of Higden; and James Bradford of Payson, Ariz.; two sisters, Estle Chalk of Kokomo, Ind. and Helen Nelson of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Marshall Bradford of Jacksonville, Fla. and Angela McNally of Arlington, Texas; and two great grandchildren, Chase McNally and Ava McNally, both of Arlington, Texas. Mr. Bradford is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
