Mary Pauline Stark was born to Joe and Edith Brewer Bittle on August 29, 1928 in Shiloh and died on February 4, 2010 in Little Rock.

She was a member of the Atkins First Baptist Church.

She lived for many years in Heber Springs until she moved to Atkins where she lived for the past 10 years.

She was a retired License Practical Nurse.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Major Stark; a brother, Clyde Bittle; two sisters, Josephine Hipp and Susan Dreher.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Stark of Russellville and Alan Stark of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, Timothy Alexander Stark, Benjamin Major Stark, Ashley Frances Stark, and Lindsey Nicole Stark; two brothers, Tatum Bittle of Heber Springs and Kennedy Bittle of Mabelvale; a sister, Ada Raney of Cave City; other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers were Bobby Wilkes, Randy Thurman, Todd Bittle, Dale Bittle, Frank Hickman, Johnny Presley, and Jason Reid. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Ruth Class at the First Baptist Church of Atkins.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Heber Springs on February 7 and burial at the Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery.
