JUNELLA TURNEY DOLLAR, DAUGHTER OF THE LATE JESSE AND FLOSSIE ETTA TURNEY, PASSED AWAY FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 2006 AT HER HOME. BORN FEBRUARY 16, 1925 AT HIGDEN, ARKANSAS, SHE WAS 80 YEARS OF AGE. JUNELLA HAD SPENT MOST OF HER LIFE IN HIGDEN, ARKANSAS. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF POST OAK BAPTIST CHURCH, HAD BEEN A SECRETARY FOR THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS, WEST SIDE SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND COTHERNS GROCERY IN GREERS FERRY, ARKANSAS. BESIDES HER PARENTS, JUNELLA WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER DAUGHTER, MARSHA ANN GARDNER. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, LUTHER DOLLAR OF GREERS FERRY, 4 GRANDCHILDREN, SHELLIE VANDIVOR OF HEBER SPRINGS, TERESA JO DAVIDSON OF GREERS FERRY, BRADLEY GARDNER OF ELKO, NEVADA, AND HEATHER CORDOVA OF GREENSBORO, PENNSYLVANIA, 10 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE BROTHER, J.E. TURNEY OF HIGDEN, OTHER RELATIVES, AND MANY FRIENDS.
