Reader, July 18 - Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 for Mrs. L. H. Walthall of Chidester, Route 1. The Rev. Jewel Murry of Cullendale and the Rev. A. W. Tanner of Camden conducted the services. Mrs. Walthall was 60 years old. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Reader. She is survived by her husband, L. H. Walthall, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Creech of Camden; four sons, Leslie and Coy Walthall of Camden, and Dale Walthall of Fairview and Poodles Walthall of Chidester; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Moore, Bluff City; Mrs. Rosa Gaston of Chidester, Mrs. W. M. Morgan and Mrs. J. P. Starnes of Bluff City; three brothers, John Bradley of Cale; J. W. Bradley of Prescott and Jesse Bradley of Camden, and eight grandchildren. Burial was in Bluff City. Proctor Funeral Home was in charge. (Camden News - July 18, 1950)
