This grave is surrounded by a concrete wall with a wire cage covering the grave. At some point the gravestone disappeared from the grave, and the only identity was the metal letters forming the name on the wire cage. Sometime during the first century of 2000, the gravestone was discovered near Lakeview, Baxter County, Arkansas. The lady that found the gravestone cleaned it up. Then on April 10, 2013, Larry Havner with Monuments and More in Mountain Home, Arkansas, re-set the monument in the original base in the original location in the Arkana Cemetery without charge.
June 10, 2014 Update: According to Don Bomer, Willie Howard Bomer drowned at his father's ferry on the White River then called "Bomer's Landing." Mr. Bomer indicated that his cousin, De De Stephens was the one that removed the gravestone and saw to the refurbishing of it.
