Age 89 of Lake Elmo, MN Previously of Natural Dam, AR Passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2011 at Lighthouse of Mahtomedi in Mahtomedi, MN. Former business owner of Sylvan Products, Lake Elmo Hardwood Lumber, and DresserLumber & Tie. A singer/songwriter of gospel and country music. An avid hunter and fisherman. Survived by his wife, Joan; 5 children; 2 step children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Glen Rogers; 2 sisters, Betty Harris and Fay Laufer (Mike); many relatives and good friends. Memorial service to be held March 11th, 12:00 pm at Trinity Baptist Church, 2220 Edgerton St, Maplewood (651-774-8609). Visitation at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Committal Service to be held at Hall Cemetery, Natural Dam, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lighthouse of Mahtomedi, 113 East Avenue, Mahtomedi, MN 55115.
