PEA RIDGE - Lillie "Marie" (Hess) Creekmore, 84, of Rogers died Jan. 9, 2013. She was born Jan. 5, 1929, to George and Lorna (Snyder) Hedrick in Pea Ridge, Ark.

Lillie was an avid crafter making jewelry, dolls or sewing anytime she could. She was active in church services and activities showing her strong faith in the Lord.

She is survived by her children, Carrie (John) Joseph of Michigan, Becky (Scott) Dunbar of Kansas, Kevin Hess of Kansas, Tim Hess of Texas and Roger (Pam) of Florida; sister, Fay Mason of California; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a host of neices and nephews, especially Jane (Larry) Matulich who visited often.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie "Andy" Hess; and her second husband, George Creekmore; her parents; and three sisters.

Her visitation will be Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, from 10 until noon, with a service starting t noon in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Buttrams Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge, Ark.

GARFIELD — George Lewis Creekmore, 77, of Garfield died Jan. 26, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Jan. 27, 1918, to Clarence and Verlie Six Creekmore. He was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of Trinity Gospel Lighthouse Church in Springdale. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Opal J. Creekmore; three sons; one grandson; two great-grandsons; one brother; one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Creekmore of the home; nine sons, Clifford Creekmore of Toronto, Kan., Raymond Creekmore, Lewis Creekmore, Larry Creekmore, James Paul Creekmore, Ray Ed Creekmore, Jackie Dean Creekmore and George Eugene Creekmore, all of Wichita, Kan., and Dewayne Creekmore of Oregon; three stepsons, Roger Hess of Florida, Tim Hess of Tulsa, Okla., and Kevin Hess of Wichita; five daughters, Iona Staten of Arkansas City, Kan., Myrtle Staten of Blackwell, Okla., Beatrice Moses and Sharon Creekmore, both of Wichita, and Karen Beavers of Tulsa; two stepdaughters, Carrie Joseph of Davidson, Mich., and Becky Hess of Wichita; two brothers, Tom Benton of Lowell and Evert Benton of Berryville; four sisters, Veturia Warner of Rogers, Ruth Phillips of Jay, Okla., Ina Harp of Green Forest and Della Lou Combrink of Billings, Okla.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with Carl Kester officiating. Burial will be in Buttrams Chapel Cemetery at Pea Ridge.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
