PEA RIDGE — Edith Mae Laramore, 83, of Pea Riige died Oct. 22, 2004, at her home. She was born March 8, 1921, in Elk City, Okla., to Roy and Myrtle Herndon Dodson. She moved to Pea Ridge in 1961 from Beaver, Okla. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, where she was head of the kitchen ministry, was president of the Willing Workers Sunday school class, taught Sunday school and participated in vacation Bible school. Her interests included oil painting, her farm and cattle. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fletcher Laramore, in 1998, and one son, Fletcher Daryl Laramore, in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Laramore and wife Debbie and Kenneth Laramore and wife Ramona, all of Rogers, two sisters, Lucille Hackworth of Pea Ridge and Mildred Truman of Eufaula, Okla.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge with Al Fowler officiating. Burial will he in Buttram Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Visitation will he from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
