Miss Tisha Lasater died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her brother, George Lasater, at Pea Ridge. She was 75 years of age. Funeral services were held at the Pea Ridge Presbyterian Church yesterday afternoon, Dr. Joseph R. Miller, the pastor, conducting the services. Burial was made in the Pea Ridge cemetery. She is survived by three brothers, Amzie, John and Geo. Lasater, all of the Pea Ridge community

(from Shady Grove) The many friends of Miss Tish Laisiter were grieved to learn of her death. “Aunt Tish” was a loving Christian and even though her health kept her confined to her home she remained a loyal Christian throughout the 75 years she lived among her host of friends and loved ones. “Aunt” Tish departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 24 and by her going she has left three brothers, George, Amzi and John, and a host of nieces and nephews who will greatly miss her from the family circle. Rev. John Harris, a life-long friend, officiated at the service with the Miller Undertakers of Pea Ridge in charge. Burial was in the Pea Ridge cemetery.

Loutitia Ann Lasater, aged 86 years, died at her home east of Pea Ridge Tuesday, Jan. 24th following a short illness. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Rev. Johnnie Harris conducted the services. Burial was in the Buttram Chapel cemetery. Miss Lasater, daughter of H.T. and Eliza Jane Lasater was born May 29th, 1846 in Wilson County, Tennessee. She was one of 12 children and came with her parents to Arkansas in 1851. She professed religion when young and united with the Methodist Church at Buttram’s Chapel. Then later transferred her membership to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Pea Ridge. She was a constant attendant until the infirmities of age prevented her from doing so. Surviving are her three brothers, Amzi, George and John of Pea Ridge and a large number of nieces and nephews.
