Mary Ellen Woodham, age 75 of Conway formerly of Guion died Tuesday August 21, 2007 at the Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway. She was born October 7, 1931 at Osceola, Arkansas to Robert Lee and Maude (Adams)Rainey. She was a homemaker and attended the Guion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Delois Levelle Woodham, three brothers, Moneroe Rainey, Charles Rainey and Everett Rainey, six sisters Dorothy Walker, Joann Reed, Jonnie Ruth Abernathy, Joan Rainey, Gladys Rainey and Anita Rainey and one granddaughter, Regina Vanwinkle.
Survivors include one son, William Green of Conway, one daughter, Tonya Craig of Violet Hill, one brother, Don Rainey of Melbourne, one sister Kathey Barrett of Quitman, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin Friday August 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Noble Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in the Reeves Cemetery located near Guion with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Visitation will begin Thursday August 23, 2007 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.
