Mrs. Betty Allen, 73, of Pocahontas, AR., passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at home. Mrs. Allen was born in Shirley, MO. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
She married her husband J.D. Allen on July 28, 1956. He survives. Other survivors include one son James Douglas Allen of Alton, MO.; two brothers Fred Robinson of Trenton, NJ., Richard Robinson of Broken Arrow, OK.; six grand-children, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by parents George and Esther (Strange) Robinson; one son Danny Gene Allen; two brothers Deon and Gary Robinson; one sister Naomi Spyers.
Burial was in the Richwoods Cemetery in Corning.
