PEA RIDGE — Lenard Miser Sims, 81, of Pea Ridge died Dec. 31, 2003, at Holland North Nursing and Retirement Center in Springdale. He was born March 12, 1922, at Pea Ridge to Lenard Perkins and Florence Virginia Miser Sims. He moved to Oklahoma in a covered wagon at eight months old and remained there until joining the Army. Honorably discharged he moved to Pea Ridge in 1943. He was a farmer and attended Brightwater United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by one brother, Robert George Sims in 1996.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at Buttram Charel Cemetery rear Pea Ridge with Kelly Yabrough officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.
