SPRINGDALE — Doris P. Shelley, 95, of Springdale died Sept. 5, 2008, in Springdale. She was born Dec. 10, 1912, in Fayetteville to Thomas Jefferson and Mary Belle McKinsey Price. She attended Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale. She was an avid seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Thomas Shelley in 1964 and her son, Thomas Wayne Shelley.
Survivors include one daughter, Deloris Parsons and husband Harold of Springdale; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale with the Rev. Cliff Palmer officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale. No visitation is scheduled.
