Mary Kathryn Alexander, 74, of Fayetteville died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Fayetteville. She was born in Charleston, Miss., on June 25, 1930, the daughter of Joe and Eva Ogles Little. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Assembly of God church in Springdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Pete Little, John David Little, Marvin Little and Benton Little; and one sister. Geneva Cunningham.

She is survived by her busbard, Buster Alexander of the home, to whom she was married April 13, 1946; three daughters, Susan Greer and husband Dewey of Rogers, Pam Anderson and husband Joel of Washougal, Wash., and Penny Patton of Springdale; one brother, Hiram Little of Greenville, Miss.; one sister, Rosie Robinson of Charleston, Miss.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 13 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Billy Burks officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tony Greer, Joey Anderson, Kevin Alexander, Alex Patton, Joel Anderson and Jon Davis.

Honorary pallbearer will be Leighton Alexander.
