Mrs. Virgie Morrison Johnson, 80, a former resident of Camden, died Monday in Texas. She was a native of Calhoun County and the wife of the late W. C. Johnson, who was a employe of the Cottonbelt Railroad Company. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Keck, of Texas; some grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were to be held today at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Hampton, with burial in New Hope Cemetery (Camden News - December 27, 1972)
